If the payment amount is greater than your PayPal account balance, you will be able to select the funding source for the amount which exceeds your PayPal balance. If the payment amount is less than your PayPal account balance, your funding choices will be. I dont see how its possible, i've been trying to figure it out for an hour. so what you want is for paypal to bypass your bank account as the back up source, and go straight to your credit card? why is this not possible? lets say you just wrote a rent check, and the funds in your checking account linked to paypal are only enough to cover your rent. if that happens to be a checking account with a debit card that also functions as a credit card, then i think, it wont matter.īut lets say you dont want the funds to come out of your bank account. it will pull funds from your BANK ACCOUNT first. ive read a number of these discussions and everyone says it will pull money from your CC if the funds are not in your balance. ![]()
